10 Troubleshooting

9.2 Cutting torch

Check that all threaded fittings are tight and inspect wear parts for visible damage. Replace
if necessary.

The electrode must be replaced if the weld penetration is deeper than 1.5 mm.

Clean the cutting torch head regularly to remove cutting spatter.

4

Check the safety shut-off mechanism’s contact pins to ensure that their spring function is
working properly. If required, clean the protective cap’s contact ring to ensure a reliable
contact. Replace if necessary.
