1 Identification
The welding tractor ABICAR 1200 PRO 42V is used to produce continuous butt and fillet welds. It is
attached with permanent magnets and can be used with the MIG/MAG welding torch. The device may be
operated only with original ABICOR BINZEL spare parts. These operating instructions only describe the
welding tractor ABICAR 1200 PRO 42V.
When used in these operating instructions, the terms “device”, “product” and “welding tractor” always refer
to the welding tractor ABICAR 1200 PRO 42V.
In connection with the accessories, the following use is enabled:
— Welding with oscillation
— Use a larger-diameter welding torch
— Movement of the equipment along external edges, lap joints, low walls, walls with holes, ceilings,
tubes and tanks
The device must only be used with the following components:
— iMIG POWER 400 welding power source
— ABIMIG AT 355 LW 4.0 m KZ-2 PT welding torch
— ABIMIG WT 440 4.0 m WZ-2 PT welding torch
— ABIMIG MTG 455 T 4.0 m KZ-2 PT welding torch
