Step Action Illustration
4 ATTACH the antennas into sockets by turning them in a
clockwise direction.
The antenna sockets are located on the opposite side of the
CONNECT Universal Gateway from the Ethernet ports.
5 CONNECT the power adapter and cable as indicated, and
plug the adapter into a power outlet.

The CONNECT Universal Gateway will automatically
switch on. If it does not, press the Power button on the
Universal Gateway.

Observe and check the three device status lights 1, 2
and 3.

If a solid Status 1 light does not appear within two
minutes, restart the Universal Gateway by pressing
and holding down the Power button for five seconds.

The Status 2 light will flash while the device attempts
to connect.

The Status 3 light will remain solid green when a
successful connection is established with RALS
LiNK
TM
or Sympheos
TM
.
6 INSERT one end of the first Ethernet Cable into the LAN
port on the CONNECT Universal Gateway.
7 INSERT the opposite end of the first Ethernet Cable into the
Ethernet port of the first ID NOW
TM
device.
Physical installation for the first ID NOW
TM
device is
COMPLETE .
