Portfolio Manager, and additionally you will need Administrator privileges to access the
Administration tool. See the Commissioning section for details.
Enclosure installation
Determine the location of the System Monitor enclosure. It must be located within 100 meters (330
feet) of an Internet connection and within 1200 meters (4000 feet) of your inverter(s).
Mount the enclosure out of direct sunlight in a location where it will not be exposed to continuous
water flow, snow and ice build-up, and/or areas of extreme temperature. The included power
supply requires an ambient temperature between -25
o
C and 50
o
C but the logger can operate
between -40
o
C and 85
o
C. Install the enclosure using the external enclosure mounting tabs with
appropriate hardware (not included). Drilling holes in the back plate is not recommended and will
void the warranty. The enclosure box is a NEMA 4/4x/12 (IP65) enclosure so it may be mounted in
a vertical (where the door opens out) or a horizontal (where the door opens up) orientation.
Conduit entry location
It is recommended that conduit entry come in through the bottom of the box. Drill holes at least 2”
from any edge. Remove any metal shavings and treat bare metal with rust inhibitors.
