5.2. Construction characteristics
5.2.1. Units
UniMix switchboards are of the metal-enclosed type, particularly
suitable for secondary distribution requirements.
In the UniMix switchboard, the line-side isolator with three
positions (closed-open-earthed) is contained in an oval-shaped
metal housing hermetically sealed and filled with SF6 insulating
gas, whereas the remaining live parts of the main
circuit of the switchboard are insulated in air.
Do not drill holes or carry out welding on the stain-
less steel housing of the switch-disconnector.
The metal structure - similar for the various units - consists of
2 compartments whose segregation is made by means of the
metal housing of the switch-disconnector.
The insulator bushings are fixed to the metal housing of the isola-
tor - three upper ones housed in the busbar compartment (top)
and three lower ones housed in the feeder compartment (bottom).
The main busbars are mounted in the busbar compartment.
According to the type of unit, the various components, such as:
cables and terminals, circuit-breaker, fuses, earthing switch and
instrument transformers are installed in the feeder compartment.
The arc-proof units are tested according to the requirements
of the CEI EN 60298 and IEC 298 - App. AA Standards, with
class of access limited to authorised personnel only (Class A)
on all the four sides, in observance of all the criteria (from 1to
6) foreseen by the Standard.
Arc-proofing is guaranteed with the panels mounted,
doors closed and screws tightened.
5.2.2. Degrees of protection
The UniMix switchboard is designed with the following degrees
of protection:
– degree of protection inside the switchboard IP2X
– degree of protection on the external housing
(operation seats excluded)

5.2. Caractéristiques de construction
5.2.1. Compartiments
Les tableaux UniMix sont de type protégé, particulièrement
indiqués pour les exigences de la distribution secondaire.
Dans le tableau UniMix, le sectionneur de ligne à trois positions
(fermé-ouvert-à la terre) est renfermé dans une enveloppe
métallique ovoïdale scellée hermétiquement et remplie de gaz
isolant SF6, tandis que les parties actives du circuit principal
du tableau sont isolées dans l’air.
Ne par percer ou réaliser de soudure sur l’enveloppe
en acier inox de l’interrupteur-sectionneur.
La structure métallique, semblable pour les différentes unités, est
composée de 2 compartiments dont le cloisonnement est réalisé
au moyen de l’enveloppe métallique de l’interrupteur-sectionneur.
Les isolateurs de traversée sont fixés à l’enveloppe métallique; trois
supérieurs qui sont logés dans le compartiment barres (supérieur)
et trois inférieurs qui logent dans le compartiment ligne (inférieur).
Dans le compartiment barres sont montées les barres
principales; dans le compartiment ligne sont installés, selon le
type d’unité, les différents composants, comme par exemple:
câbles et bornes, disjoncteur, fusibles, sectionneur de terre et
transformateurs de mesure.
Les compartiments à tenue d’arc interne ont été testés selon
les prescriptions des Normes CEI EN 60298 et IEC 298 - App.
AA, avec classe d’accessibilité limitée aux personnes autorisées
seulement (Classe A) aux quatre côtés, dans le respect de tous
les critères (de 1 à 6) prévus par la Norme.
La tenue à l’arc interne est garantie avec les panneaux
montés, les portes fermées et les vis serrées.
5.2.2. Indices de protection
Le tableau UniMix est projeté avec les indices de protection
suivants:
– degrés de protection à l’intérieur du tableau
IP2X
– indice de protection sur l’enveloppe extérieure
(excepté les sièges de manœuvre)
IP3X
– Indice de protection sur les sièges de manœuvre IP2XC
