7.2 Removing the turbocharger

u

Disconnect all gas and air lines in accordance with the engine
builder’s instructions.

Turbocharger without an
exhaust gas pipe

u

Secure the lifting gear to the bearing casing.

u

Loosen the fixing screws (C) on the bearing casing.

u

Lift the turbocharger off the engine and put it down to one side.

u

Cover the oil connections.
