Set the required totalizer count rate.
The count rate is determined by the maximum number of
engineering units (or pulses) per second and the smallest
totalizer increment:

The resulting value must be within the range 0.00001 to
99.99999. The totalizer increment is determined by the
number of decimal places in the 'Predetermined count' value –
see page 99.

Set the required totalizer cut off value.
The totalizer cut off value is the lowest input value (in engineering
units) at which the totalizer is to stop counting.
Digital Input Sources only – see Section 6.6.1, page 87
Set the required totalizer count rate.
A digital totalizer pulse can be scaled to represent a value of
between 0.00001 and 1000.00000. The totalizer is then
incremented by this amount each time there is an off/on
transition.
Example
– a count of 5 digital pulses with 'Count rate' set to
100 increments the totalizer from 0 to 500 in 100 unit steps.
