NSPECTION

At least twice yearly, perform a thorough inspection of the switchgear.
Emphasize the following checks:

1.

 

Perform an overall visual inspection.

2.

 

Check all indicators, meters, and instruments for proper operation.

3.

 

Make sure all bolted panels are secure.

4.

 

Verify operation of heaters and thermostats, if used.

5.

 

Check for undue noise or vibration that might loosen bolted
connections.

6.

 

Look for evidence of moisture in the switchgear.
