Installing the cartridge group

u

Measure the axial and radial clearance (see section Axial and radial
clearances).

u

Screw the nozzle ring (56001) onto the partition wall.

u

Check lifting gear and attach to bearing casing (42001).

u

Lubricate the centring seats, inner part of the V-clamp profile and
screw threads with high-temperature grease.

u

Remove temporary covers from oil connections.

 CAUTION

Do not damage or shift the gasket rings in the mounting support when
fitting the cartridge group. The gasket rings belong to the engine and
are not included in the scope of delivery of ABB Turbocharging.

u

Fit V-clamp (52410) and tighten to the specified tightening torque
(use torque spanner!).
