Maintenance timers and counters
The control program has maintenance timers and counters that can be configured to
generate a warning when a pre-defined limit is reached. Each timer/counter can be set to
monitor any parameter. This feature is especially useful as a service reminder. For more
information, see the firmware manual.
Cabinet

Cleaning the interior of the cabinet
WARNING! Only qualified electricians are allowed to do this work. Read
the complete safety instructions given in Safety instructions for ACS880
multidrive cabinets and modules (3AUA0000102301 [English]) before
you service the drive. If you ignore them, injury or death, or damage to
the equipment can occur.
WARNING! Use a vacuum cleaner with an antistatic hose and nozzle, and wear a
grounding wristband. Otherwise an electrostatic charge might build up and
damage the circuit boards.
1. Disconnect the drive from the AC power line and DC/DC converter from the energy
storage and obey the instructions in section Electrical safety precautions on page 66 .

2. Open the cabinet door.
3. Clean the interior of the cabinet. Use a vacuum cleaner and a soft brush.
4. Clean the air inlets and outlets of the fans.
5. Clean the air inlet grating of the door (see section Cleaning the door air inlets (IP42)
on page 92 ).
6. Close the door.
