Installation Precautions
To keep the IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless CPE well while you are installing it, please read and
follow these installation precautions.
1.
Users MUST use a proper and well-installed grounding and surge arrestor with the IEEE
802.11b/g/n Wireless CPE; otherwise, a random lightening could easily cause fatal
damage to IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless CPE.
EMD (Lightning) DAMAGE IS NOT
COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
2.
Users MUST power the IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless CPE from an IEEE 802.3af switch or
compatible injector. Use of non IEEE 802.3af compatible power source may cause
damage to the IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless CPE .

Before powering on the IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless CPE, please verify that the external
antenna is properly installed or damage may be caused to the unit.
(APX-3100 Note: Though Internal Antenna is Selectable in the WEB Management, the
APX-3100 only supports external antenna capabilities.)
