chipped, or damaged in any way. Do
not operate the unit with loose,
damaged parts or improperly
adjusted.
2. Before start up, remove the security
Blade Sheath from the blade.
3. Make sure the guard is well fixed to
the product.
The normal hedge trimmer
Starting
1. Remove the blade sheath.
2. Place one hand on the rear handle.
Place the other hand on the front
handle.
3. Press the security button.
4. Continue to press the security button.
Slide the lock switch forward, then
squeeze the trigger switch to turn ON
the hedge trimmer. The trimmer will
stay on as long as the trigger switch is
squeezed.
5. Lock switch may be released once
hedge trimmer is running.
Stopping
1. Release one of the security button or
the trigger switch on rear handle.
2. Wait until cutting blade has stopped
fully.
The Pole Hedge Trimmer
NOTE:
To help prevent the motor from
starting accidentally, the lock switch and
trigger switch must both be engaged to
start the unit.
Starting
1. Remove the blade sheath.
2. Place one hand on the rear handle.
Place the other hand on the auxiliary
handle.
3. Slide lock switch forward.
4. Continue to hold the lock switch.
Then squeeze the trigger switch to
turn ON the hedge trimmer. The
trimmer will stay on as long as the
trigger switch is squeezed.
5. Lock switch may be released once
pole hedge trimmer is running.
Stopping
1. Release the trigger switch.
2. Wait until cutting blade has stopped
fully.
NOTE:
Upon release of the trigger
switch, the lock switch will reset to the
locked position.
After use
1. Switch the product off, remove the
battery back and let it cool down.
2. Check, clean and store the product as
described the “Care and maintenance”
below.
