2.7. Starting the terminal

To run the terminal you have to power in from 12VDC power supply compatible with terminal power

supply specification. Additionally, connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ45 network interface of the

terminal and to a network switch.

After connecting power terminal display will turn on. Initialization process takes about 2 minutes.

The recommended way to start and configure terminal is a direct connection to

the network switch

which is not connected to other devices. In the absence of a switch, it is enough to use a cable

connected directly to the computer. To obtain further information about network configuration

parameters (IP address, gateway, network mask, etc.) please contact your network administrator.
