7.6 Climbing stairs - Downwards

NOTE - It is mandatory to observe the safety instructions in chapter 7!
DANGER - As soon as the climbing legs start taking the cargo you will feel the handles pulling.
Tilt the CR23 closer to the ground to counteract!
Adjust neutral position.
» The climbing legs must be
completely retracted.
Tilt the CR23 and keep it bal-
anced.
Push the CR23 forward until
the safety brakes take eff ect.
Press the UP/DOWN switch
in the DOWN direction.
» If the single-step mode has
been activated, keep the
UP/DOWN switch pressed
until CR23 stops by itself.
The CR23 climbs down.
Push the CR23 forward until
the safety brakes take eff ect.
Repeat procedure starting
with image 4.
Climbing stairs downwards - spiral stairs
When moving on spiral stairs, the same steps as just described
in chapter 7.6 must be carried out.
Please note:
For a spiral stairs, the CR23 must be aligned ac-
cording to the spiral of the stairs. Both wheels must come back
into contact with the edge of the stairs during each climbing
procedure.
Manufacturer’s recommendation:
Activate single step mode.
