5 Folding and unfolding
5.1 Seating unit
DANGER - Lock the seating unit and footrest, otherwise they can move instantly!
WARNING - Watch out for pinch points when folding and unfolding!
Unlock the folding mecha-
nism.
» Press the release button
downwards and at the
same time pull the C part
with seat forwards.
Fold out the footrest .
» It locks automatically
Press the C part with the seat
downwards until the mech-
anism has been completely
folded out.
» The castors must touch
down on the ground.
Folding
To fold in the footrest, operate the lock pin and fold up the footrest.
Fold the C part with seat upwards until the folding mechanism locks automatically.
5.2 Mounting the headrest (optional accessory)
CAUTION - Position the headrest at the level of the back of the head to prevent the head from
falling backwards!
Position the bracket of the
headrest on the marking on
the backrest.
» Fix with screws.
Adjust the height of the head-
rest to the height of the occu-
pant's head.
» Tighten the locking screw.
