Cordless DECT system terminals
One or more radio units are required to be able to operate DECT handsets on the
Ascotel® system. They are connected to one or two AD2 interfaces. They are pow-
ered either via the AD2 or locally using separate plug-in power supply units. Sys-
tem handsets as well as GAP-mode DECT handsets by other manufacturers can be
logged on to the system via a radio unit.
More information on radio units and the planning of DECT systems can be found in
the "Ascotel® DECT Systems" System Manual.
