" Keps Nuts (3816KN) onto the Center Rod
(CR3816-28-38), washer side up, leaving approximately 1" of
threading on the rod showing.
Slide the mounting plate and Spill Tray onto the rod. Install the
second keps nut onto the rod, washer side down, making sure
to keep the nut flush with the end of the rod. Tighten the first
keps nut with a

" or crescent wrench.
Slide the rod through the Octagon Pole (C52-223) and then the
base. Thread the third keps nut on the end of the rod, washer
side toward the underside of the chrome base, and tighten
complete stand assembly. If properly installed and tightened,
both keps nuts on the ends of the center rod should be flush
with the edge of the rod.
