PROBLEM
CAUSE
SOLUTION
Vended amount
too large. Delivery setting
not set properly. Adjust delivery setting.
Machine leans
too far forward. Octagon stand bracket/
mounting plate is on wrong.
Remove machine assembly from
Octagon stand assembly.
Disassemble Octagon stand and
reassemble with bracket in proper
position (see Figure 2A)
Machine leans
or is loose. Pedestal rod is loose. Remove machine assembly from
Octagon stand assembly. Remove
Octagon base and pole, tighten
keps nuts above and below spill
tray/bracket, tighten nuts at both
ends together.
Machine still leans
after tightening.
(above) Spill tray or base tube
is bent.
Bend base plate flat or replace
bent component.
Coin mechanism
is loose. Lock lever screw is loose. Open cash box and tighten screw
with phillips screwdriver. Do not
over-tighten.
Inconsistent vends Timing of delivery wheel
is not set properly.
Be sure timing mark is visible in
the timing slot. Every 3 vends the
timing mark should be visible.
Vended amount
too small. Delivery setting not set
properly–or bridging problem
–or handle was turned
too rapidly.
Adjust delivery setting.
If bridging replace candy.
