Treatment of Fruits & Vegetables
The shelf-life of fruits and vegetables can be extended by ozone treatment. The produce will
retain a more attractive appearance and fresher taste.
• Ozonate a 1/2 gallon or 2 liters of water
• Set on Function #3
• The unit will run for 10 minutes
• Then let produce sit in ozonated water for 30 minutes
Treatment of Meat Products
Rinse and soak meat and poultry in ozonated water to kill salmonella, E. coli and other
harmful microbes, as well as to neutralize residual hormones. The preservation time of
ozone treated meat products is increased by 2 to 5 times. Rinse and soak fish in ozonated
water to kill microbes and remove fishy odor.
• Ozonate 3 liters of water
• Set on Function #4
• The unit will run for 15 minutes
• Then let meat product sit in ozonated water for 30 minutes
Treatment of Cooking Utensils
Soak cooking utenils to eliminate bacteria. For utensils, rinse off any food debris and treat
in clean water with ozone.
• Ozonate 3 liters of water
• Set on Function #4
• The unit will run for 15 minutes
• Then let utensils sit for 30 minutes in ozonated water
Fish Tank
