INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on your purchase of the GA5100 mixer 

amplifier  from Asystems. The  GA5100  offers  users  with 

an easy and flexible solution to contractors and engineers 

alike to easily incorporate a host of possible sources into 

two zones. Output connection is varied, allowing both ¼” 

phone  jack  and  screw-terminals  to  be  used,  depending 

on the application. A USB playback module is on to allow 

incorporation of MP3 or WAV files to the device.

Please take the time to read this manual thoroughly 

before use. Inside you will find useful hints and safety tips 

to ensure the unit is used correctly� Once read, please 

store in an easy-to-find place so as to ensure you can find 

it at a later date�

GETTING STARTED

1.

   Before turning the power on, the Master output control 

should be set to -∞.

2.

   Always  turn  the  power  off  before  connecting  or 

disconnecting cables.

3.

   Check the AC outlet to ensure it is of a suitable voltage 

before connecting the AC plug of this device.

4.

   Do not obstruct the back panel due to the heat sink 

and air vents needing ventilation�

5. 

  Please ensure the distance between the back of the 

GA5100 

and the wall is over 1�5 feet to ensure the 

device gets the ventilation which it needs�

FRONT PANEL

1. Microphone Input

This ¼” TS connectors are for the addition of microphone 

signals to channel 1 of the GA5100� Users can also use 

the Combo jacks on the rear of the device.

2. Level Controls

These level controls adjust the incoming signal level from 

the microphone and line input jacks�

3. Echo Control

This control will adjust the level of the incoming signal 

from  input  channels  that  will  be  affected  by  the  built-in 

echo effect.

4. Treble Control

This control allows users to boost or cut the level of high 

frequency audio that will be offered in the main signal.

5. Bass Control

The bass control allows users to boost or cut the level of 

low frequency audio in the main signal�

6. Volume Control

This control will adjust the final output level of the 

GA5100�

7. Talkover Button

This button will give priority to the microphone signals from 

input channel 1� When activated, anytime the microphone 

connected to channel 1 is used all other signals will dip 

down  by  25  dB  to  give  priority  to  the  mic.  The  signal 

will return to normal 2 seconds after you stop speaking 

through the microphone�

8. Alert & Announce Buttons

These  two  buttons  will  send  an  alert  or  an  announce 

tone through to the speakers. The altert button can also 

be  used  to  activate  a  siren,  the  length  of  which  will  be 

2  minutes  and  30  seconds.  Pushing  the Alert  button  a 

second  time  will  disengage  the  siren.  The  ‘’announce’ 

button will active a 3 second ‘do mi so do’ tone to indicate 

an announcement� Activating either of these tones will cut 

out all music and other input sources�

9. Zone 1 and 2 Buttons

These  buttons  determine  the  destination  of  the  mixer’s 

input signals� Pushing zone 1 will send the signal to the 

zone 1 screw terminal outputs on the rear, and pushing 

zone 2 will send the signal to the zone 2 screw terminal 

outputs�
