Meters
The DMP1616 has three full pages of Meters, including
“Meters”, “Meters/Dynamics” and “Meters/AutoLeveler.”
These give real-time details on the input and output
signals being sent to and from the DMP1616, as well as
offering gain reduction details on compressor and limiters.
Logic I/O
The general purpose interface output is used to remotely
control the DMP1616. When properly setup, you can
recall presets and/or remotely adjust other properties of
the device.
GPIO In
The GPIO In field is for use with the Asystems RM-4
remote preset control. Up to two can be used at any
one time (ports 1 to 8). In essence, users can save any
number of “scenes” to the device, and use the RM-4 to
instantly recall the scene. This is done by saving the
scene through the “Preset Options” pull-down menu at
the top of the screen.
Presets will correspond to a particular number, and this
GPIO In menu can be used to assign the preset number
to a “port” for use with the RM-4. For information on
wiring the RM-4 control to a particular port, check the
appropriate page within this menu.
A name or “Subject” can be assigned to each scene.
GPIO Out
The GPIO output is used for third party controllers.
