CAUTION: Before seating the children in the MAXXI, make sure that the brake is engaged.
To ensure child safety, the MaXXI is equipped with 5-point safety belts. always use these safety belts to prevent children
from standing, climbing and falling in or out of the MaXXI. The safety belts must be adjusted accurately. The central buck-
le with 3 securing systems provides optimal safety. Fit the harness exactly to the child. you should be able to insert your
finger between the belt and the child‘s body! Belt positioning is shown in Figure 8.
WARNING:
ALWAYS USE ANTI-SUB STRAP TOGETHER WITH SAFETY BELT.

On storing the MaXXI, the brakes must always be engaged. Press the braking handle and make sure that the brakes
work properly! To release the brakes, pull the braking handle with the tip of your foot.
CAUTION: Do not leave children unattended in the MAXXI, even if the brakes are engaged.

The wheels are easy to fasten by using the lock lever.

The backrest cam be partially or fully tilted rearwards. The metal collar at the corner of the seat must be gently pushed for-
ward and lifted upwards. The backrest is thus released and can be moved to the required position (Before using the MaXXI,
make sure that the backrest is secured properly and that the seat cloth is not trapped.
CAUTION: For avoiding that your fingers get jammed, don‘t adjust the backrest when your child is seating in the
pushchair.

ADJUSTING THE BACKREST
The MaXXI MaXXI can be folded in a compact shape in order to facilitate transport and storage.
Before starting the folding procedure:
• There must be no children seated in the MaXXI.
• The brakes must be engaged.
• The canopy must be folded completely.
• The backrest must be tilted to the horizontal position.
• Take the packages out from the baggage basket.
Press the two buttons on the grip and turn it forward. The pushchair folds up to the second locking device. By pressing
the locking device, the pushchair folds completely. attach the safety clamp on the right hand side and the MaXXI is ready
for transportation .
CAUTION: Make sure that your fingers or feet are not trapped during the folding of the MAXXI.
