Programmable Keys
These keys can also be set up to quickly access features such as Do Not Disturb
(DND) and Voicemail.
You must use the 8x8 Web Phone UI to configure the programmable keys. For
more information about programming keys with other functions on the 675xi
series IP phone, see 8x8 675xi User Guides corresponding to your 8x8 IP Phone
model (6753i, 6755i, or 6757i CT).
Creating a Speedial Key
Pressing and holding down a programmable key on the phone initiates a
speeddial feature.
1.
Press a programmable key on the keypad for 3 seconds. A screen displays
with the prompt, "Enter number>".
2.
Enter a phone number or extension to assign to that speeddial key.
The following example illustrates the screen display:
