BIOS Configuration
4.9. Frequency/Voltage Control
This item enables you to set the clock speed ad system bus for your
system. The clock speed ad system bus is determined by the kind of
processor you have installed in your system.
CPU Clock Ratio :
Use this item to select a multiplier for the
system front side bus (FSB) frequency. The value of the multiplier
must be set so that: Multiplier x Front side Bus Frequency = CPU
Clock Speed.
For example, if you have a processor that is rated to run at 450 MHz
and the system in running a front side bus frequency of 100 MHz,
you should select a multiplier of 4.5 so that:
4.5 (Multiplier) x 100 MHz (front side bus) = 450 MHz (CPU clock)
Auto Detect PCI Clk :
When this item is enabled, BIOS will
disable the clock signal of free DIMM and PCI slots.
Spread Spectrum :
If you enable spread spectrum, it can
significantly reduce the EMI (Electro-Magnetic Interference)
generated by the system.
