To release the current CPU, unlock the turn-screw with a screwdriver to the unlock position.

Carefully lift the CPU straight up and out of the socket. 

 

 

 

8.

 

Lower the replacement CPU into the socket and make sure the Pin 1 marker on the corner of the 
CPU corresponds with the Pin 1 Indicator of the socket.
