RF Exposure Statement
3M™ Monitoring Offender tracking device, Model X1044V has been evaluated under FCC Bulletin OET
65C and found to be compliant with FCC RF radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled
environment This device is to be used solely by law enforcement agencies for tracking purposes.
In order to maintain compliance to RF exposure requirements for body worn use, this device must be
carried in the provided belt clip pouch which contains some metallic parts to provide a minimum 15mm
separation from the body. The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must not be co- located or operating in
conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter except in accordance with FCC multi-transmitter
product procedures.
The use of accessories not approved by 3M Company, including but not limited to batteries, antennas,
wall adapters, chargers and belt clips may cause your device to malfunction or in the case of unapproved
electrical accessories may cause the device to exceed RF energy exposure guidelines.

to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency
