Opening an e-Book
When the e-Reader is first powered on, it will open to the place in the last book you were reading. If this is the
first time you've powered on or you prefer reading a different book than the one automatically opened, do the
following:
1. Press the Home key.
2. Choose the
Library
icon using the Navigation and Selection button.
3. Select a book from the
Library:/Digital Editions
list.
Locating the online user manual
To locate the e-Reader's online manual, use the Navigation and
Selection button to navigate to the
Library
folder.
Charging the battery
Note
:
The first time you charge the e-Reader battery, keep it
charging for 8–12 hours without switching it on.
Procedure
1. Make sure the device is off.
2. Connect the cable to the charger and the charger to power.
When the device is fully charged, the LED at the bottom
stops blinking and turns a steady yellow.
