UPPER FRAME AND COMPONENTS

•

Insert the M10 rubber washers onto the lead screws against the Delrin nuts on the top.
Carefully slide the X-axis assembly up, and insert the left lead screw through the lead
screw hole on the left X-end from the bottom. (Figure 4.31)

Insert the left lead screw into the shaft coupler till the lead screw contacts the motor
shaft. Release the shaft coupler from the motor shaft, and slide the coupler downwards
against the lead screw. Then, tight up all set screws on the shaft coupler to connect
the lead screw and the motor shaft. Make sure one set screw on the shaft coupler
mates the flat spot on the motor shaft.
