4 Running the Setup Program
6 Click
Enter
to complete the Encryption section of the Home
Wireless Gateway setup. The “Setup Wizard | Finished” screen
appears.
7 Click
Save and Restart
to ensure that all your settings have been
saved to the Home Wireless Gateway.
The front panel Power LED will flash during the restart process. When the

effect and the home wireless gateway is ready to use.
NOTE:
A hexadecimal digit is a number or letter in the range 0-9 or A-F,
for example, 3C 42 BE D7 5A.
NOTE:
If you decide to use encryption, you will need to have the
corresponding keys configured identically on each of your wireless clients,
otherwise the clients will not be able to connect to the Home Wireless
Gateway.
NOTE:
Encryption is for securing data transmitted through wireless
communications between the gateway and its wireless clients. Enabling
encryption has no security effect on data transmitted through wired
(Ethernet) connections or through your connection to the Internet.
