NTRODUCTION
ISDN1
and
ISDN 2
(yellow) Show whether an ISDN call is in progress
on ISDN Channel 1 or Channel 2.
■
On – Connected to a remote ISDN unit and incurring call
charges.
■
Flashing – A call is being made, but has not yet connected.
■
Off – ISDN channels are not in use.
VOICE
(yellow) Shows the status of the voice connection (521 and
531 only):
■
On – A voice call is in progress.
■
Flashing – The handset is off the hook and a dial tone is
present, a call is being dialled, a call is ringing out, or a call is
coming in.
■
Off – The voice channel is not in use.
WAN
(yellow) Shows the state of the WAN link (531 only).
■
On – The WAN link is available to pass data.
■
Flashing – There is a fault on the WAN port.
■
Off – The WAN link is not configured.
ISDN Utilization
(green/yellow) Shows ISDN usage as a percentage
of network loading. If an ISDN loading of 100% is consistently seen,
and faster throughput is required, consider the following:

Configure the unit to filter some of the data. See the
Software
Reference
(on the DocPack CD) for more information.
■
Installing an additional ISDN or WAN link to cope with the
amount of data being transferred.
