Position the battery clamp over the battery with the ends of the battery clamp aligned with the
screw holes in the battery compartment.

Insert the screws through the ends of the battery clamp into the battery compartment.
•
Fasten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-fastening.

.Close the battery hatch.
Note:
If the battery connector will not plug into HMMWV M1045A2 TOW Missile Carrier
harness connector, turn it over and try again! Do not force the battery connector into the HMMWV
M1045A2 TOW Missile Carrier harness connector.
IMPORTANT!
Always remember to keep the battery hatch locked at all times to prevent children
from accessing the 12V battery.
