Taking a Balance Test

1)  Place scale on a hard, level floor, at least 1.5 feet from a wall with a focal point, like the test instructions

poster, at eye level.

2)  Plug in the scale.

3)  Press on the center of the scale to zero it. You should hear a beep and see ‘- - -’ on the display as

confirmation that zeroing has occurred; the display will then read ‘0.0.’  Zero the scale any time it has

been moved between uses.

4)  Stand still on the scale with feet a comfortable width apart and hands at sides. After a few seconds, the

scale will beep and the balance test will begin. The balance test will last 60 seconds.

5)  At the end of the test, the scale will beep and the balance score will be displayed (1-10). Note : If you will

use the scale again later, you might need to

wake it up

 by pressing on it.
