This is a 24 hour mechanical timer with 30 minutes interval settings
and 24 On/Off cycles per day. Ideal for home security and energy saving
applications.
1. Point arrow on face of dial to current time of day.
2. Locate pegs on the outer edge of timer’s dial. Be sure all pegs are
pushed in before programming. Select a time period you want the
appliance turned on, then push out ALL the pegs that fall on or within
that period. For example, to have the timer turn an appliance on at
11PM and off at 3AM, push out pegs representing 11PM and 3AM,
and ALL pegs in between.
3. Set switch to TIMER ON position.
4. Plug appliance into outlets of timer.
5. Plug timer into an electrical outlet convenient to the appliance to be
controlled. The appliance will now turn on and off at the times you
have set.
Note
To override the timer and use your appliance normally, set the switch
to the OUTLET ON position. This will deactivate the timer’s control of
the appliance, but the timer’s dial will still show the current time of day.
To reactivate the timer’s control of the appliance, set the timer’s switch
to TIMER ON position. In case of power failure, reset the time of day
as explained in step 1.
