GENERAL

SCOPE

The information in this instruction manual
covers the installation of Models 

 and

 Heavy-Duty Wall Mounts, as well as

Associated Equipment and Accessories.

INTRODUCTION

Models 

 and 

 Heavy-Duty

Wall Mounts are designed to support 
and-tilt drives, scanners, camera/lens
systems, and environmental housings with total
camera station load ratings of up to 200 pounds
(91 kg) for the 

 and 100 pounds (45 kg)

for the 

 These industrial, outdoor

units are constructed of weatherproof aluminum
or corrosion-protected steel.

MOUNTING ACCESSORIES

Model 

 Corner Mounting Bracket:

For corner mounting capabilities.

Model 

 Support Strut: 

Provides

added strength for heavy loads. Can be used
alone or with corner mounting bracket.

Model 

 Pole Mounting Adapter:

Accommodates pole diameters from 4 to 
inches (10.2 cm to 25.4 cm).

INSTALLATION

 WALL MOUNT

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Bolts should preferably extend through the
structure with nuts and washers used on the
opposite side. Studs should be either
anchored in concrete or welded to steel. If

the mount is to be attached to a blind

structure, make certain that the fasteners
used have a minimum pull-out strength of 1500
pounds each. (Never use lag screws in the end
grain of wood.)

 AND 

 WALL MOUNTS

To install either the 

 or 

 Wall

Mount, secure the base to the wall with four

 

lag 

screws or hex bolts (or studs).

See Figure 1.

When the mounting surface does not provide
adequate strength for the wall mount, use

Model 

 Support Strut. The 

Corner Mounting Bracket is available for
corner installations. See Figure 2.
