HIGH ROUTE 1 

PITCHING INSTRUCTIONS 

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Sierra Designs tent! In order to familiarize yourself with your new tent, we recommend you 

“test pitch” it before embarking on your wilderness adventure. 

PACKAGE INCLUDES: Rain Fly, Tent Body, 4 Guylines, 8 FL-stakes, 1 Stuff Sack, 1 Stake Bag. 

STEP 1: 

Find an even piece of ground; be sure the area is clear of debris. 

Lay out your tent as shown. Stake the 4 corners (circled). NOTE: 
make sure door zippers are closed. 

STEP 2: 

Assemble trekking poles and set to 47”/119cm. Insert INSIDE fy 
with pole handle up. Attach trekking pole tip to grommet in web-
bing; adjusting tension lock.

STEP 3: 

Stake out guyline making trekking pole vertical. Repeat Step 

2/3 on other side. 

STEP 4: 

Lay tent body inside tent. Connect corner hooks on tent body to 

corner loops on tent fy. Adjust String lock to tighten. NOTE: Match 
RED corner of fy to RED corner of tent body.

STEP 5: 

Connect tent body to ceiling of tent fy using SR buckles. Tighten 
webbing to pitch tent body.

OPTIONAL SETUP: 

To set up the tent body of your tent only, simply stake 

out the 4 corners, insert your trekking pole tip through 
the loop on the yellow webbing and guy out.
