Hard Drive Installation
1. Press the key (included in the package) into the lock slot located at the front of the hard drive tray until the tray handle unlocks.
2. Pull on the tray handle to remove the tray from the enclosure.
3. Dismount the plastic tray protector rods by removing the screws on the sides of the tray.
4. Place the hard drive in the tray, and fasten it with the screws (included in the package) in corresponding locations.
5. Place the tray back into the enclosure and lock the tray by pushing in the tray handle.
Bundled Controller Card Installation
1. Turn off the computer and unplug the power cord from the back of the unit.
2. Open the cover of the computer and locate a PCIE x8 slot for the RAID controller card.
3. Securely install the RAID HBA card into the PCIEx8 slot and tighten the screws.
4. Close the cover of the computer and attached the included SFF-8088 SAS cable between the ES424X6 unit (Input Port) to the first SAS Port on
the RAID HBA.
5. Turn on the power on the host computer and insert the RAID HBA CD driver.
6. Install the driver and WebGUI utility from the CD based on the operating system used
