Condition

The PROTECTED WHEN LIT indicator does
not light.

Solution

The surge protector's AC line is no longer
protected from surges; replace the surge
protector. The surge protector may have
received a power surge or spike beyond its
specified limits that might overload the
protection circuitry and make it inactive. If this
happened, the surge protector should have
absorbed enough of the surge to protect the

This product is intended for indoor use only.

This surge protector is not a lightning arrestor
and might not protect against lightning-
induced voltage surges.

Be sure the total wattage of all connected
devices does not exceed 1875 watts.

Use the surge protector only with a three-
prong standard AC plug. The surge protector
cannot provide protection without a grounded
AC source.

Retain Instructions — Retain the safety and
operating instructions for future reference.

Damage — Unplug the surge protector from
the wall outlet and replace it:

a. When the power cord or plug is damaged.

b. If liquid has been spilled or objects have

fallen into the surge protector.

c. If the surge protector has been exposed to

rain or water.

d. If the surge protector has been dropped or

damaged in any way.

e. When the PROTECTED WHEN LIT

indicator goes out.

If the GROUNDED WHEN LIT indicator does
not light, your surge protector is not
grounded. You must reconnect it to a different
grounded, three-prong AC outlet.

Swift Detection and Protection —
Detects and protects against a power
surge of up to 6,000 volts and 60,000
amps within 1 nanosecond (1
billionth of a second).

Modular F Connectors — Provide
protection against surges from the
connected TV or cable source.

PROTECTED WHEN LIT
Indicator —
Lights green when
the connected devices are
protected.

GROUNDED WHEN LIT Indicator —
Lights green when the connected
devices are properly grounded.

Safety Alarm — Sounds a buzzer
when the AC line is no longer
protected.

Indication Tags — Identify which
device’s power cord is connected to
which AC socket to avoid
disconnecting the wrong device.

Safety Design Slide Covers —
Prevent children from inserting metal
objects into the unused AC socket(s).

Power Shutdown Protection —
Protects the connected appliances
from being damaged by shutting
down power when surge protection is
depleted.
