Battery Installation (fig. 1.1)

Squeeze the 2 wings on the battery compartment
cover together to release the cover. Install batteries
correctly according to the polarity diagrams inside
the battery compartment and replace the cover.

Remove and store batteries when the device is not
in use.

Power and IR Control (fig. 1.7)

Powering up and adjusting IR intensity can be
controlled by turning the switch located at the back
of the device housing (fig. 1.7). Rotate the switch to
the right. The switch will produce a tactile click
when powering on and off.

To activate the IR and adjust IR brightness simply
continue to rotate the power switch to the right until
it cannot be rotated any further.

Turn off the IR Illumination by rotating the switch to
the left - back towards the off position until it cannot
be rotated any further.

Power off by rotating the switch to the left until there
is a tactile click.

Diopter Focus (fig. 1.5)

For the best possible user experience diopter
adjustment must be made.

Holding the monocular up to your eye with the
power on, rotate the eyepiece (fig. 1.5) until the
edges of the LED display become sharp.

Objective Focus (fig. 1.2)

Holding the monocular up to your eye with the
power on, rotate the front objective lens (fig. 1.2)
until the image in the field of view becomes sharp.

Ensure that the subject is at least 3 feet away.

Focus will require adjustment depending on the
distance of the subject.

For the best possible user experience keep the
objective lens clean and free of lint, oil or dirt. The
lens can be cleaned with a clean dry lint-free cloth.

For dried or stuck-on dirt use a lightly moistened
lint-free cloth can be used with clean water or a
glass / lens cleaning solution.

Accessories (fig. 1.4)

The Digital Sentry comes with a head / helmet
mount adapter and a weapon mount adapter.

To mount the accessory adapters, line up the
screw hole with the screw and tighten. Be careful
not to cross-thread the screw. - If the screw
becomes tight but the mount is still loose, it is not
properly mounted. Loosen and realign.

When properly installed there should be no free
play between the mount accessory and the
monocular housing.
