BATTERY
This model requires two “AAA” batteries (not included).
To install the batteries, remove the battery door located on the back of the
clock. Insert two “AAA” batteries following the polarity symbols (+/-) marked
on the inside of the battery compartment. Replace the battery door.
If the clock does not activate after inserting the batteries, check to make
sure the battery is properly installed and/or check to make sure the battery
is fresh.
If the clock does not operate, or steadily loses time, or if the alarm sounds
weak, the batteries are low and should be replaced.
SETTING THE TIME
Move the slide switch (B) to the “T. SET” position.
Press the Hour button (C) continuously until the
correct hour is displayed.
Note:
“PM” will display in the upper left corner of
the display for PM hours. Next, press the Minute
button (D) continuously until the correct minutes
are displayed.
SETTING THE ALARM TIME
Move the slide switch (B) to the “AL. SET” position. Set the desired alarm
time in the same way used to set the time. Press the Hour button (C)
continuously until the correct hour is displayed. If the Alarm Time desired is
a PM time, “PM” will be displayed in the upper left corner. Next, press the
Minute button (D) continuously until the correct minutes are displayed.
WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed call your
doctor immediately. DO NOT open battery, dispose of in fire, charge,
install backwards or mix with used or other battery types.
May explode or leak and cause personal injury.
TURNING ON THE ALARM
Move the slide switch (B) to the “AL. ON” position. The alarm bell icon will
appear on the display. At the pre-set alarm time, the backlight will flash red
and the alarm will sound. The alarm sound can be stopped by moving the
slide switch (B) to “AL. OFF” position. If the alarm sound has been turned
off, and you wish to have the alarm sound again at the pre-set alarm time
the next day, simply move the slide switch (B) to the “AL. ON” position.
SNOOZE
The alarm sound can be stopped and repeated again four (4) minutes later
when the Snooze/Light button (A) is depressed at the time the alarm
sounds. The snooze function can be repeated again and again.
BLUE BACKLIGHT
The display can be illuminated at any time by pressing the Snooze/Light
button (A), and will stay illuminated for four (4) seconds, then automatically
fade. The display will also illuminate if you press the Snooze/Light button
(A) at the time the alarm sounds.
