Description
The KZ715AS five-contact mounting base with sounder is for
use with Kilsen addressable fire alarm control panels. It is
designed for indoor use only.
Installation
Caution:
This product must be installed by qualified personnel
adhering to the CEN/TS 54-14 standard and any other
applicable local authority laws.
Electrical connections
Connect the mounting base as shown in Figure 1. An earth
connection is required.
Addressing
Each device requires a numeric address between 128 and 252
for identification purposes. This is set using DIP switches 1-7
(see page 12).
Acoustic output
Adjust the acoustic output of the siren using DIP switch 8, as
shown below.

Installing the detector
To install the detector, insert it into the base and rotate it
clockwise until it locks into place (Figure 4).
