Step By Step Assembly Instructions

PRE-ASSEMBLY PREPARATION

 

Please check the pack contents before attempting to assemble this product. A full checklist of components is given 
in this leaflet. If any components are missing, please contact your nearest stockist.
The ladder can be assembled on both left and rigth side, this instruction shows assemblying for right side.
This product takes approximately 

120 MINUTES 

to assemble with 

2 People.

The fittings pack contains 

SMALL ITEMS

 which should be 

KEPT AWAY FROM YOUNG CHILDREN.

Read this leaflet in full before commencing assembly.
You will require a crosshead screwdriver, flathead screwdriver and an allen key.

Important Safety Note
Always lift the unit from the base when moving it, do not drag along the ground.
It is recommended that two people should move the unit, never move it alone.
A crosshead screwdriver only should be used to assemble this loft bed, an electric drill
may cause damage to the product and is not recommended.

IMPORTANT - READ CAREFULLY - RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

 

All assembly fastenings should always be tightened properly and care should be taken to ensure that no fittings are loose.
 
The loft bed should be checked periodically to ensure that the guardrail, ladder and other components are
maintained in the correct position and state of repair and that all connections are secure.
 
The mattress used with the loft bed should measure 90 cm in with, 190 cm in length and not exceed 21 cm in thickness.
 
The top of the mattress shall be at least 160 mm below the upper edge of the safety barrier, refer to the permanent 
marking on the bed for guidance.
 
Do not use the loft bed if any structural part is broken or missing.
 
The upper bed of the loft bed is not suitable for children under six years due to the risk of injury from falls.
 
To avoid the risk of strangulation do not attach to/or hang ropes, strings, cords, harnesses or belts on the bed.
 
Warning! Children can be become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk for serious injury the distance between 
the top safety barrier and the wall shall not exceed 75 mm or shall be more than 230 mm.
 
Children should be discouraged from playing on the bed.
 
If any replacement parts are required, they must be obtained from the John Lewis Partnership.
Substitute parts should not be used.
