using your thermometer
1. Aim IR Probe (1) at target and press Power Button (3) once.
2. LCD Display (2) will show surface temperature.
3. For continuous reading, press and hold Power Button (3) while adjusting aim from
surface to surface.
Note! Distance to target diameter ratio (Distance:Spot) is 1:1. For accurate
temperature reading, position probe as close to target as possible.
replacing the battery
When {Battery Empty} flashes, battery is too low to get temperature reading. Replace
battery with CR2032 lithium single cell battery as follows:
1. If display is on, allow 15 seconds for thermometer to shut off automatically.
2. Use coin or screwdriver to remove Battery Cover (4) by turning counterclockwise.
3. Remove spent battery, insert fresh battery, and close cover by turning clockwise.
