System Information
This device is a product of the Instabus EIB system
and complies with EIBA directives. Detailed technical
knowledge obtained in Instabus training courses is a
prerequisite to proper understanding.
The functionality of this device depends on the soft-
ware. Detailed information on loadable software and
attainable functionality as well as the software itself
can be obtained from the manufacturer’s product da-
tabase.
For the productdatabase and technical descriptions
please refer to the internet at www.gira.de offering up-
to-date information.
Planning, installation and commissioning of the unit is
effected by means of EIBA-certified software (ETS 2
version 1.2a or tableau-software).
Function
The info terminal is a central display and control unit
for the Instabus EIB system.
It has an illuminated programmable 240 x 128 dot
graphic display and 4 freely programmable function
keys which facilitate the fetching and influencing of in-
formation on current system states.
Display texts can be individually tailored to specific
applications.
Basic functions such as
• switching,
• dimming,
• louver,
• light scenes,
are possible in the same way as the
• transmitter,
• display of linkages,
• display of measured data,
• threshold switches,
extended functions are.

Safety warnings
Attention: Electrical equipment must be installed
and fitted only by qualified electricians and in ob-
servance of the applicable accident prevention
regulations.
To prevent electric shocks, disconnect the pow-
er supply before working on the device (by cut-
ting out the circuit-breaker).
Any non-observance of the fitting instructions
may cause fire or other hazards.
