General information and safety warnings
•
Do not allow children to play with these lights.
•
Do not submerge in water.
•
When disposing of batteries, please ensure that they are correctly
recycled.
•
Do not mix old and new batteries. Mixing old and new batteries could
cause leakage of caustic acid that could cause skin burns and
damage materials it contacts.
•
When installing batteries, observe the correct polarity.
•
Requires 1x AA rechargeable NI-MH 600mAh battery (included).
•
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
•
Wear gloves and use caution when removing leaking batteries. Make
sure you dispose of batteries at your local recycling centre.
How to Use
•
Remove the lights from the packaging. Store or dispose of the
packaging in the correct manner.
•
On the back of th
e solar panel, switch the auto/off button to the ‘auto’
position.
•
Connect the ground stake to the solar panel.
•
Position the solar panel in a sunny location for at least 6-8 hours to
charge.
•
There are 6 green stakes. Attach one to each end of the rainbow lights
so that you can then insert these into soft ground.
Please Note:
The solar panel must be placed in a well-lit location for
maximum sunlight absorption. Anything that shades the panel will
affect the brightness and lighting duration. At least 6 hours of sunlight is
required for the lights to illuminate.
Remember!
During winter months,
the charging time will be reduced due to the limited daylight hours.
Cleaning and Maintenance
•
Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth as and when required to remove
surface dust and debris.
