v001: 30/03/20
Occasionally during transit, the hands on the clock may be found to have come loose away from their
fixing on the spindle. This is a design feature to protect the mechanism and is easily rectified by simply
pushing the hour hand onto its spindle and then the minute hand.
Should this be necessary, once the hands have been pushed back onto the spindle they should be
manually moved to read 12 o’clock before following the procedure below.
Remove the rear battery compartment cover from the clock movement by pulling it away from the
casing.
Fit a 1.5V (AA or equivalent) battery into the battery compartment taking care to observe the correct
polarity.
Adjust the time by turning the wheel on the movement in the required direction until the current time is
displayed.
The rear cover may now be replaced by pushing back over the movement.
Fixing and Location instructions
Preferably fix the clock so that it is out of direct heat and sunlight.
Fix to a wall using suitable fixings such as wall plug and screw (not provided) by means of the bracket at the
rear ensuring that it is firmly held in place.
