Programmable

Power Strip Timer

Getting Started

1

Make sure the lamps/appliances are working, by plugging them
into the wall outlet and turning them on.

2

While they are on, remove the plug from the wall outlet.

3

The cover protects the timer ‘face’ from dirt and dust, and it
‘hides’ the operating controls when not in use.  You will need
to open the cover when programming the time and settings,
and then you can close the cover after programming has been
completed.

4

There are 96 non-removable pegs on the front of the timer.
These pegs can be pushed up (away from the middle area) or
pushed down towards the middle area). Make sure that all of the
pegs are pushed DOWN.

5

There is a knob in the middle area, which can be turned
clockwise or counterclockwise, so that the   arrow aligns with
either the – (ON), the   (AUTO), or the

 (OFF) icons.

Make sure the   arrow aligns with the   (AUTO) icon.

6

There is a red OFF/RESET button near the base of the cord.
Make sure the button is set to RESET.

7

Holding the pegs, rotate the dial clockwise through at least one
complete revolution.

Installation/Use

There are 8 outlets on the power strip. Four of the outlets are
surrounded by a border and the   (AUTO) icon. Lights/appliances
plugged into any/all of these 4 outlets will be controlled by the
timer. Lights/appliances plugged into any/all of the other 4 outlets
will NOT be controlled by the timer.

1

Plug the lights/appliances into any of the    outlets on the
power strip. Plug the timer power cord into the wall outlet.
Make sure the lamps/appliances are set to ON.

2

Turn the middle knob so that the

arrow aligns with the

(AUTO) icon. The timer will now automatically turn ON

and OFF at the programmed times.

Manual Override Function

You can override the programmed setting temporarily (i.e. turn
the lamps/appliances ON when the timer is set to OFF or turn
the lamps/appliances OFF when the timer is set to ON.)

1

When the lamps/appliances are OFF at the programmed
time, turn the middle knob so that the   arrow aligns with
the

 (ON)

icon. The lamps/appliances will turn ON.

2

When the lamps.appliances are ON at the programmed
time, turn the middle knob so that the   arrow aligns with
the

(OFF) icon. The lamp or appliance will turn OFF.

3

In order for the timer to automatically turn ON or OFF at the
programmed times, turn the middle knob so that the   arrow
aligns with the   (AUTO) icon.

Setting the Current Time

You must set the current time, in order for the timer to turn
ON and OFF correctly at the programmed times.

1

Holding the pegs, rotate the dial clockwise until the current
time aligns with the   arrow, paying attention to the AM or
PM designation.

Programming the On/Off Times

1

Turn the middle knob so that the   arrow aligns with the

 (OFF) icon.

2

Locate the time(s) at which you wish the lamps/appliances
to turn ON and OFF, paying attention to the AM or PM
designation.

3

Each peg represents 15 minutes. Push the pegs UP during
the time periods when you would like the lamps/appliances
to be turned ON.

4

Push the pegs DOWN during the time periods when you
would like the lamps/appliances to be turned OFF.
