Can’t access the Web GUI
•
Ensure the computer is connected to the EMG6726 as previously described.
•
If using DHCP, the Web GUI access IP will be the same as your computer’s Gateway
Address (default: 192.168.1.1).
•
Try clearing your computer’s browser cache to remove any cached info from other
routers or devices.
•
Try using a computer command prompt or app to ping the devices’ access IP
address.
•
Try using an alternate form of administration, such as:
•
Telnet (default port: 23 with a Telnet client like puTTY)
•
SSH (default port: 22 with an SSH client like puTTY)
•
HTTPS/ SSL (default port: 443 with a standard web browser)
•
If you cannot access the router through the Web GUI, you can hold in the hardware
reset button on the back of the unit for ~10 seconds (until the Power LED starts
blinking) to reset the unit back to factory defaults.
