For devices performing routing, the
Maintenance > Diagnostics > Ping &
TraceRoute & NSLookup menu allows
you to execute a basic ICMP ping,
traceroute, or NSLookup (DNS test) to
a local or remote address. You can
use this menu to test upper-layer IP
connectivity and routing.
•
Simply insert any URL or IP address to
see if the router itself can reach the
Internet. If the router can, but the
connected computer cannot, it may
be due to an improper IP or DNS
setting on the computer, not the
router.
