Uninstalling Your Prestige
This chapter tells how to uninstall your Prestige driver and remove the Prestige from your
computer.
To uninstall and remove the Prestige from your computer, follow the steps below.
Save and close all programs before you start.
Step 1.
Uninstall the driver and software as described in the
Removing the Driver and Utility Software
section.
Step 2.
Shut down Windows and turn off the computer. Unplug the power cord from the power source
Step 3.
Ground yourself by wearing an anti-static wrist strap or touching a metal object.
Step 4.
Remove the computer cover and unscrew the bracket screw securing the Prestige to the
computer panel.
Step 5.
Pull the Prestige out of its PCI slot.
Step 6.
Replace the computer cover and plug in the power cord.
Step 7.
Restart your computer.
After your computer has restarted, the uninstall process is complete. To verify that the software was
successfully uninstalled, click
