5.2.2 Making a Dial-Up Connection
Step 1.
Double-click the dial-up connection
icon on the Windows desktop.
Step 2.
If the shortcut is not found on your
desktop, double-click
My Computer
and then
Dial-Up Networking
.
Step 3.
Enter the user name and password
provided by your ISP.
DO NOT change the phone
number: it indicates the VPI/VCI
values for establishing the ADSL
connection.
Step 4.
Click
Connect
. Once the connection is
established, you are ready to access the
Internet.
